CoMotion LAB MIAMI Announces First Task Forces

Miami-Dade County’s mobility innovation lab to focus on Smart Curbs & Urban Air Mobility in 2021
Task Force members include leading public and private sector players in Florida and North America
C-LAB “will bring together global thought leaders to develop and test new mobility solutions in Miami-Dade and beyond,” says Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava
Miami, Florida, April 5 – CoMotion LAB MIAMI launched its Curb & Smart Infrastructure and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Task Forces. The move cements the region’s dynamic transportation and technology leadership in 2021 and the years to come.
C-LAB is a joint initiative of Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works and CoMotion, the Los Angeles-based digital media, conference and advisory platform on emerging mobility which organizes the CoMotion MIAMI and CoMotion LA gatherings.
The Curb & Smart Infrastructure Task Force is designed to pilot mobility solutions aimed at rethinking the way the urban curb is managed. The Urban Air Mobility Task Force is focused on “in-air” solutions for goods delivery, passenger mobility, and operational enhancements to best serve residents, businesses, and visitors.
